Presented by The Stand Restaurant & Comedy Club in partnership with NYLaughs and the Union Square Partnership, the four-day NY Laughs Festival returns June 4th through June 7th with expanded programming across Lower Manhattan. The festival opens with the return of “Comedy in the Square,” a free outdoor comedy event in Union Square Park featuring stand-up performances, live music, food and drinks. Delight in Italian specialty sandwiches from Alidoro on Saturday, June 6th during Grillo’s Pickles Pop Up taking place at 2 Rivington Street. Attend Caribbean Cinderella: The Cocktail Experience at The Tank



Presented by the Don’t Pass the Peppa Sauce team, Caribbean Cinderella: The Cocktail Experience arrives at The Tank on June 6th for a one-night-only immersive theatrical event blending Carnival, comedy, cocktails, dance, and Caribbean storytelling. Inspired by the classic fairytale, the experience follows the Prince of the Caribbean Kingdom through the Magical Lands of the Caribbean and includes four curated cocktails throughout the evening. Doors open at 7:15 PM with the performance beginning at 8 PM. Guests can expect island-inspired music, cultural vendors, dancing, and an interactive celebration of Caribbean culture and community.

The Reality Shaper Podcast Launches With a Concert at pinkFROG Café



The Reality Shaper, a new queer fantasy musical podcast inspired by Dungeons & Dragons, officially launches its debut season during Pride Month with a live concert celebration on June 8th at 7 PM in Williamsburg. Created by award-winning writer and performer Sair Kaufman, the sweeping 11-episode musical podcast features more than 50 original songs and centers on CB, a non-binary narrator at the heart of a queer enemies-to-lovers fantasy adventure. The launch event will feature live performances, cast appearances, and exclusive music from season one. The cast includes performers from Broadway, national tours, cabaret, and immersive theater, including Christian Thompson, RJ Christian, Andrew Montgomery Coleman, and Maria Wirries. The Annual Museum Mile Festival Returns to NYC



NYC’s Museum Mile Festival returns this year offering the public free museum access on Tuesday, June 9th, from 6 PM to 9 PM. Art lovers can stroll along Fifth Avenue as it transforms into a car-free zone. 82nd street to 110th Street will host an epic block part and participating museums will open their doors for free. Ripple Effect Artists to Present "Building The Wall" at Urban Stages



Ripple Effect Artists will present a limited Off-Broadway engagement of Tony Award-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan’s dystopian political thriller Building The Wall from June 11th through June 21st at Urban Stages. Directed by Brent Buell and starring Austin Lightning Carrothers and Cecily Lyn Benjamin, the production revisits Schenkkan’s 2016 examination of immigration policy, fear-driven nationalism, and the erosion of democratic norms. The production will partner with the Immigration Defense Project and the New York Immigration Coalition for a series of post-show talkbacks focused on immigrant rights and legal advocacy resources.

Philips Brings Its House of Coffee Pop-Up to Nolita



For two days only, Philips will host its immersive House of Coffee pop-up at 262 Mott Street in Nolita, offering complimentary coffee and doughnuts alongside personalized espresso experiences using the new Philips Café Aromis 8000 Series espresso machine available exclusively at Williams Sonoma. Guests can take a quiz to discover their “iconic cup of coffee” before crafting drinks with the help of an on-site coffee concierge using beans from Partners Coffee. The experience also features an exclusive Coffee Dulce de Leche doughnut created by acclaimed pastry chef Fany Gerson of Fan-Fan Doughnuts. The Bronx Chamber of Commerce will honor Joseph Gallitto, president of D&J Transportation, during the 2026 Joseph P. Kelleher Memorial Golf Tournament on June 16th at Bally’s Golf Links at Ferry Point. The annual event gathers more than 200 business leaders, developers, and community stakeholders for a day of networking and recognition celebrating contributions to the Bronx business community. Brine & Ember: A Coastal France Wine Pairing Dinner at Le Petit Village

Celebrate Juneteenth at Flushing Town Hall With Storyteller April Armstrong



Flushing Town Hall will commemorate Juneteenth on June 19th with an evening of storytelling and music honoring Black history, resilience, and oral traditions. Led by acclaimed storyteller and singer April Armstrong, the free celebration begins at 7 PM and features musicians Mario E. Sprouse, Ayodele Maakheru, and Napoleon Revels-Bey. 24th Annual Solstice in Times Square: Mind Over Madness Yoga

This year, Solstice in Times Square: Mind Over Madness Yoga takes place on Sunday, June 21st from 7:30 PM. to 8:30 PM at the intersection of Broadway and 7th Avenue between 45th & 48th Streets. “Times Square is gearing up for an exciting summer this year and it all kicks off with Solstice in Times Square: Mind Over Madness Yoga,” said Tom Harris, President of the Times Square Alliance." Each year we watch as New Yorkers and visitors challenge themselves to find peace and calm in the middle of Times Square – rain or shine – and then send them off to enjoy everything that the neighborhood has to offer from a nourishing meal at our local restaurants to world-class entertainment.”


“Summer Solstice Yoga In Times Square inspires our steady movement, forward and upward through the celebration of yoga,” said Douglass Stewart, Solstice in Times Square Co-Founder. Participants will have the opportunity to join one of seven free yoga sessions throughout the day on June 21st and visit the Yoga Village between 47th and 48th Street, which will feature booths, giveaways, and activities. The Times Square Alliance has partnered with sponsors that include Clean Simple Eats, Consulate General of India in New York, Gaiam, Gatorade Lower Sugar, Gatorade Water, heytea lifestyle tea, Lifeway Kefir, Propel Energy Boost, and RYZE Superfoods. Pride Month at Le Petit Village, Loulou, Adelaide’s Salon & Ace Hotel New York

Ellen’s Stardust Diner Owner Ellen Hart to Host Miss Subways Reunion



Ellen’s Stardust Diner owner, entrepreneur and 1959 Miss Subway Ellen Hart will host a Miss Subways reunion to ring in her 85th birthday in one grand celebration of legacy and local history, while celebrating America’s 250th birthday on Tuesday, June 30th at 11 am. The Diner, known for its singing Stardusters (many of whom have gone on to Broadway, Off Broadway and TV,) will honor the NYC cultural icons who decorated the subways for more than 30 years. “America is celebrating a milestone birthday and so am I,” said Hart. “Every birthday is special, but I’m excited to spend this one with other Miss Subways, and reminisce on what was such a fun, time for us that changed our lives.” From Washington Heights to Jackson Heights and from Brooklyn to the Bronx, these 12 Miss Subways are a living tribute to the women who have helped shape New York and inspired generations of young women to dream big. Explore Downtown Manhattan In The World of Assassin’s Creed® III

Created by The Gotham Center for NYC History at the CUNY Graduate Center, leading global video game publisher Ubisoft and creative technology studio Sugar Creative, this multimedia 90-minute walking tour in downtown Manhattan will be a FREE city-scale augmented reality experience for mobile devices utilizing the detailed historical environments of Assassin’s Creed® III (set during the American Revolution). Powered by Niantic Spatial's Visual Positioning System (VPS), Echoes of Revolution: NYC precisely anchors the immersive mixed-reality storytelling to ten real-world locations including Bowling Green, Wall Street, Federal Hall, and other pivotal sites across lower Manhattan. Thanks to immersive AR and geolocation technology and using the world of Assassin’s Creed III as a visual framework, this 90-minute experience transports visitors back in time, placing them inside the defining moments of New York City's revolutionary story at the exact locations where they unfolded. Visitors can explore a digitally reconstructed colonial New York layered directly onto today’s streets. The experience is available on both iOS and Android.
